The terms and conditions set out below cover use of the website at ‘http://www.march-may.co.uk', any future correspondence entered into and any order placed with March & May Limited.

The website at http://www.march-may.co.ukis operated by March & May Limited. Any reference to “the company”, “our”, “us” or “we” on this website or in any future correspondence shall be deemed to mean March & May Limited.

Any reference to “the client”, “the customer”, “you” or “your” shall be deemed to mean the company or person using the website or entering into any future correspondence or placing an order.

By using this website you agree to the terms set out below.

PRODUCTS

Our fabrics are all printed by hand and can therefore display, by design and natural process, irregularities in appearance of both pattern and colour. This is a unique feature of a hand printed product and not deemed to be a fault.

By nature, our linen base fabric displays irregularities in the weave and surface appearance and this is to be accepted as normal.

Whilst we aim to display colours on our website as accurately as possible we cannot control how they will appear on a customer's screen. We advise making use of our swatch service to gain a clearer appreciation of the printed colour. As our inks are all mixed by hand in individual batches for each job and whilst we aim to maintain continuity of shade for any given colour, we cannot guarantee 100% matching accuracy from batch to batch. We therefore recommend that you order sufficient fabric in a single order, to complete your project.

We have also made every effort to show each pattern as closely as possible to actual size when viewed on a larger screen (by clicking on the colour swatches on each pattern page). Please be aware that images are condensed to fit screens on mobile and tablet devices and cannot therefore be regarded as an accurate representation of the actual pattern size.

The customer is responsible for checking that the product received is as ordered.

ORDERS

All our products are made to order. We do not operate an online direct ordering system and orders are only accepted following individual communication with the customer to ensure that we fully understand your requirements.

A pro-forma invoice will be issued for full payment before manufacture is commenced.

Minimum order quantity for roll fabric is 1 metre and in 0.5 metre increments thereafter.

Minimum order quantity for wallpaper is a single 10 metre roll.

We operate international currency accounts to enable payments by overseas customers in their local currency.

Overseas customers are also responsible for any local duties/taxes liable at the place of landing.

We reserve the right not to accept an order if we are unable to satisfy it for any reason.

All accepted orders form a legally binding contract.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to discuss the possibility of cancelling your order prior to delivery.

Whilst we shall endeavour to satisfy your request, once printing process has started (for fabric and soft furnishings), we will only be able to offer a maximum 50% refund.

Cancellation of 'made to order' furniture items will be liable to a charge of 50% of the deposit paid.

Please check your product on receipt. If you are unhappy with your purchase in any way, you must report it to us within 48 hours of receipt. As all products are made to order, they can only be returned if faulty, damaged or incorrect.

We must be notified of any errors/faults before any cutting and/or processing of fabric for its intended use occurs, either by the customer or a third party. We cannot accept responsibility for mistakes once the fabric has been altered.

Once delivered, products cannot be returned unless by prior agreement with us. We will not reimburse customers for products returned without agreement.

Sale items are sold on a non return, non refund basis.

All goods must be suitably packed in their original packaging for return. Return delivery charges are not reimbursable.

Any use of the website or its contents for commercial gain is prohibited without our permission. Any attempt to modify, delete or post anything to any part of the website is strictly prohibited.
