Care

Our linen fabric should be dry cleaned only. We make every effort to ensure that our fabrics will retain their original appearance for as long as possible but, given the natural characteristics of pure linen fabric, we do not recommend laundering.

Although we use water based inks to produce our patterns, the printed fabric is heat cured to set the ink. Spills and simple marks can be dabbed off with a damp cloth but we would recommend testing on an inconspicuous area before attempting more serious cleaning. Over wetting can cause distortion of the fabric.

All our finished products are treated with a surface stain repellent. Beaded droplets of spilled liquids should firstly be absorbed with paper towels.

Our wallpaper is treated with two coats of a water-based, clear varnish containing both uv filters and biocides, to protect against fading and fungal attack. Application of a further coat after the paper is hung, is recommended.

Hanging instructions for our wallpaper are available to download on every product page.

Upholstery

Our linen is classed as suitable for General Domestic Upholstery (Martindale - 20,000 rubs).

It is woven from 100% pure and natural fibre and can be used in any setting without a fire retardant treatment. However, if you are intending to use it as a fixed upholstery cover, you should speak to your upholsterer about the use of a fire retardent interlining to ensure that the finished furniture meets the required legislation.

We highly recommend application of a stain repellent treatment for any furniture or soft furnishings using our fabric.

Minimum quantities

Our minimum order for fabric is only 1 metre and in 0.5 metre increments thereafter.

We can print a maximum of 10 metres in any single length but are happy to print any amount longer than this in more than one piece from a single batch of ink.

Our minimum order for wallpaper is a single 10m roll.

Trade

Please contact us for special terms if you are a trade customer. Please note, we do not offer our products wholesale.

Swatches

You can order small samples (approx. 6"x5") in any of our patterns and colours by email or via the contact form.

Please contact us for special or oversize swatch requests.

We mix new ink batches regularly and whilst any production order may be printed from a different batch of ink to the sample, we follow strict recipes to ensure that our colours remain consistent.

The base fabric we use may also be from different batches and unfortunately, variations in colour there are beyond our control.

Colour

We make every effort to ensure that the colours shown on this site are as close as possible to the actual ink and fabric colours, however, we cannot account for how they might appear on different screens. Please request a swatch to ensure that the colour is suitable for your project.

We show our patterns in all our colours and hope that we have something to suit your needs but, if you have a specific colour you need to coordinate with, we also offer a bespoke colour mixing service. For this, we charge a fee of £65 which includes sending you a sample of the pattern of your choice, in your colour, for approval. We will refund this charge against a subsequent minimum order of 3 metres

Pattern size

Whilst we try to display our patterns as closely as possible to the actual size, we cannot account for the effect of different screen sizes on the images. It may be possible to judge the scale of a pattern from relevant images or by noting the pattern repeat size but we always recommend requesting a swatch before ordering.
